A Tony Snowball’s Chance In Hezbollah

July 18, 2006 at 3:14 pm

From today’s White House press briefing, an exchange between Tony Snow and presumably Helen Thomas:

Q The United States is not that helpless. It could have stopped the bombardment of Lebanon. We have that much control with the Israelis.
MR. SNOW: I don’t think so, Helen.Helen Thomas from NPR
Q We have gone for collective punishment against all of Lebanon and Palestine.
MR. SNOW: What’s interesting, Helen –
Q And this is what’s happening, and that’s the perception of the United States.
MR. SNOW: Well, thank you for the Hezbollah view.

Tony should be the president, not Dubya. He, at least, has the cojones to back away from the Political Correctness that’s so infuriating — the mealy-mouth Dubya crap and Condi/State Department garbage….. Tony Snow is one of the very few deserving of ANY respect in DC.
