Putting The Wash in Washington

September 1, 2006 at 2:32 pm

Washington, D.C. has declared a weather emergency.  Which surely marks the first time in D.C. history that a weather emergency has coincided with a crime emergency.

Meanwhile, tonight’s Nationals baseball game against the Arizona Diamondbacks has been rained out.  What’s in it for trivia lovers?  You guessed it — This is just the Nationals’ second rainout at RFK Stadium since the franchise relocated from Montreal following the 2004 season.
