All The News That’s Fit To Cut

We admit: We’re still confused by this part of Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine’s announcement of budget cuts in the Executive office:
Reductions in staff cell phone costs, newspapers subscriptions and travel
It’s the newspapers subscriptions that really intrigue us. We thought everything is for free these days on the Internet. So we’re curious which subscriptions they had, and which they are reducing.
Any guesses which papers are getting cut? It’s likely we’ll never know because that’ll probably tick off the respective newsrooms.
So we’re probably left to our imagination. Here are our two guesses.
