Chris Cuomo’s Odd Assertion

December 20, 2007 at 9:44 am

We may not have heard it correctly, but we could have sworn that on ABC’s “Good Morning America” this morning, anchor Chris Cuomo asked Barack Obama how he would overcome America’s “inherent racism.”

Anyone else hear that, or have a transcript, or a YouTube?

UPDATE:  Yup, he said it.  Who’s got the proof?  As always, we go right to the folks who always have primary sourcing — Hot Air.

Better to discuss a real problem: Chris Cuomo’s inherent stupidity. I’d say “congenital” but that would insult his father Mario Cuomo.

Modern day liberalism is nothing more than post 1960s elitism, with the country being divided into the “good half” of Americans, (liberals) who embraced the social movements of the 60s, and the “bad half” of Americans, (conservatives) who rejected the social movements of the 60s and embody all the worst aspects of human nature. This gives left wingers the ability to ascribe everything they don’t like about America to conservatives without being accused of being America haters.

The reality is that America is a work in progress, and that the country, as a whole, has both embraced and rejected various elements of the social movements of the 60s for both better and worse. It’s funny how the very people who brag about their ability to see shades of grey in all political issues have created an entire political philosophy that’s based on a blatantly black and white vision of the American populace. No need to debate the issues, we all know who the good guys are and who the bad guys are, and according to the Chris Cuomos of the world, that’s all we ever need to know or discuss.
