Hear No Evil, Sino Evil

OK, Ron Paul fans … Have at it:

The U.S. House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed a resolution Wednesday calling on China to end its crackdown on Tibet and release Tibetans imprisoned for “nonviolent” demonstrations.

The vote was 413-1. Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, who recently dropped out of the presidential race, was the lone congressman voting against it.

Huh — Ron Paul opposed that?

We know why the Ron Paul opposes the Iraq war.  Got it.  We know why Ron Paul opposes the Federal Reserve.  We’ve heard that, too.
But what, pray tell, was wrong with the Tibet resolution?

If anyone knows Dr. Paul’s official reason for voting against it, please enlighten us.  Otherwise we’d be led to believe he just doesn’t like lots of stuff.

Ron Paul

Ron Paul voting pro-China is genius! Talk about a quick way to make yourself relevant on any level for a split second. I mean, the man went from being a presidential candidate with a college “love looks cool spelled backwards” following, to some guy who has to get the paper for his wife in the morning. Look for more totally irrelevant Ron Paul votes coming soon!

Um, actually, Ron Paul is still in the presidential race.

    And. . .what Richard said.

Down on Ron Paul because he won’t engage in this waste of time. Here’s a thought. Stop going to Walmart. Stop filling a communist country full of our $ and T-bills. There’s a national security problem without an Islamic face on it. But no, you’d rather have political posturing make you feel better while you run out and buy more plastic. Moral of the story….freedom requires responsibility.
