You’ve probably seen mention of Mike Huckabee in New Hampshire eating a Huckaburger …
… and it might even have reminded you of the Hulkaburger franchise from Stripes.
But our colleagues at the sensational So Good food blog point out a further coarsening — and horsening — of our political culinary discourse: Mike Huckabee is so hungry, he could — and did — eat a horse:
Seriously. This is not a joke. While campaigning (pandering?) for votes in a heavily Dutch area of Iowa, Mike Huckabee named a few of his “favorite” Dutch foods. One of them was a dish that has horse meat in it. Huckabee even confirmed that horse meat, “tastes like chicken.”
Yes, truly a night-mare. Don’t you hate the media turning this into a horse race?
