If you dream of being a professional singer or dancer, actor or model, writer, director, wardrobe specialist, cinematographer, editor, or any other participant in the entertainment industry, the holiday season—Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanzaa, Ramadan—may be the ideal time to start becoming a star. Explore Talent provides talented actors, models, musicians, and dancers with a database of auditions, casting calls

The fact is, any time you are motivated is a good time to start pursuing your dream. But the holiday season is an especially good time for several reasons…

The holidays offer opportunities to perform. This may be the best time to debut your talents. Many churches, temples, and mosques schedule holiday pageants and events where members can sing, dance, act in plays and sketches, or manage duties behind the scenes. ExploreTalent member, the planet’s largest Acting & Modeling Website for free! ExploreTalent.com has over 800000 actors, models and other talent.

If you haven’t performed publicly yet, or even if you have, it’s natural to be somewhat nervous or apprehensive before a performance. That’s another reason why the holidays are an especially good time to showcase your talents. At the holidays, you are usually surrounded by family and friends in their most festive and celebratory mode of the entire year. Now more than ever, you have their love and support. They want to see you perform. They want to see you succeed.

One more reason the holidays season is a great time to start becoming a star: When family and friends ask for gift suggestions, you can tell them that you want money or a gift certificate to go toward services that help advance your dream and career. For example, perhaps you need professional photos taken…or a video of you performing…or a music demo recorded…or a website built…or lessons in acting, music, singing, or dancing…or tickets to a seminar or workshop…or tuition for classes. These all make great suggestions for a gift.

So what steps can you take to make progress on your path toward stardom? Research your options. Find local options for photography and recording services. Look into classes offered in the area. Learn about upcoming audition opportunities. Practice your craft. And take advantage of all chances you get to perform—even if it’s just singing Christmas carols around the piano or reading “The Night Before Christmas” to younger family members.

The holidays are a time to practice your talents, exhibit your talents, nurture your talents…and plan the future for your talents. The holidays are a good time to discuss your plans with the people you trust…seek their advice…listen to their input…answer their questions. Welcome questions—the clearer you can envision and articulate why and how you plan to achieve stardom, the better your chances of actually making it happen.

As with so many things at the holiday season, moderation is key. As much as you may see yourself as a star and want others to view you the same way, the holidays are ultimately not about you. They are about something bigger than you…and bigger than all of us. However, the various ways we all commemorate the holiday season provide numerous opportunities for future stars to get a great start! Take advantage of the timing. Explore your options for performing, for showcasing your talent, for marketing your talent, for growing your talent…and make this one of your most memorable holidays ever.

What Are the 3 Worst Things About Being a Celebrity?

There are a lot of great things about being a celebrity. First and foremost, you get paid to do creative work that you hopefully enjoy. In the process, you gain the love, or at least admiration, of many people. The bigger a celebrity you become, the more power you have to effect positive change, to call attention to social injustices, to rally support for solutions. On a less serious note, you get to cut in line (and usually many, many other perks). And finally, as a celebrity, you get the opportunity for financial security. It’s not a guarantee. Some well known people actually make very little money; they live on attention and press coverage and all the freebies they can get. But many people who have achieved celebrity status earn enormous sums of money, truly riches and luxury beyond most people’s wildest dreams. But like everything in life, there must be balance. If being a celebrity has many great things about it, it is natural that there must be drawbacks as well. Isn’t that the yin and yang of life? So just what are these drawbacks? Of course, every situation, every individual is different. But generally, these are the three worst things about being a celebrity. ExploreTalent coaches you and helps you obtain the discipline you need to succeed in the entertainment industry.

Number 1: You lose your privacy.

While fame, attention, and adulation are no doubt powerfully attractive and even addictive in a sense, inevitably there comes a time when you want a little privacy…when you just want to enjoy a quiet meal without interruption, buy groceries without being mobbed, or simply take a walk without getting dressed up and made up for the camera. You hear horror stories about celebrities going to great lengths to try to assume some sense of normalcy. They try to go to a movie or shopping or a restaurant, but have to wear elaborate disguises and use assumed names. Hopefully, the adulation outweighs the potentially tremendous inconvenience of virtually always being watched, followed, and on display. Number 2: Friends and family may treat you differently.

When you become a celebrity, you may still remain essentially the same person but find that the people around you suddenly change. You may find “friends” you forgot you had, relatives you never knew existed. It’s possible that everyone will assume that you are wealthy. This causes some celebrities to become nearly paranoid about the question of who really loves them and who loves them just because they are famous and presumably rich.

Number 3: It can be hard to keep a balanced perspective about yourself.

Most people don’t get applauded for their work. Most don’t get adored. But successful performers do. And the adulation showered upon them by their fans can be difficult to cope with emotionally. Adulation can tremendously inflate your ego beyond all reasonable proportions. It can give you a sense of entitlement and the belief that you deserve all your good fortune and all the adulation.

The key is to keep a balanced perspective. Enjoy all the pleasures (in moderation, of course) of being a celebrity, but remember that it is a position of privilege, not entitlement. Ideally, it is the product of hard work and, in most cases, of years of auditions, training, successes but also failures, and a lot of hard work. But most celebrities will tell you: No matter how hard the work, no matter how tough the challenge of being a celebrity may be, they wouldn’t exchange it for any other career in the world.

The Creator of Celebrity Rehab Regrets Making The Show

This is one of the biggest topics that are being talked about right now because honestly, what did he actually expect from this show? The network that brought us so many other shows might have not been thinking as well. The show has had its ups and downs and the ratings have been not so great lately but what is this actually portraying to the public overall? This is something that the network, director, and creator of the show should have brought their heads together and thoroughly thought this one through. Is it really worth putting on television? Explore Talent provides talented actors, models, musicians, and dancers with a database of auditions

The co creator of Celebrity Rehab and former addict, Bob Forrest, has spoke more about his decisions when it came to creating and bringing the addiction recovery process to the television as a reality show. He now is claiming that if he could go back in time, and do it all over again, he would never have agreed and allowed it to happen. He went on to explain that if he had to do it all over again, he would have never walked into the office and stated that they should have did this show at all, much less aired it over television to begin with. A lot of people thought and were stating that rehab is a total joke and waste of time because of this. Rehab is actually a real thing. He doesn’t like the way the show is edited, and that the network shows the same things over and over again without actually adding any of the good real life meat to the show. He technically does not like what it has become overall. This is because it is not like the real rehab since they cut those parts out of the television show. ExploreTalent.com coaches you and helps you obtain the discipline you need to succeed in the entertainment industry.

A lot of people do not doubt his work, and that he had true, clear, good intentions when it came to airing the show, but sometimes you have to think of it this way—we live in a world where people do just about anything that they want in order to be in the limelight. This is something that is clearly going around, and lots of people want fame and attention and in order to get it, they will do anything. He should be comforted to know that some people are there just because of that, and still receiving treatment at the end of the day. They really are receiving the treatment, even if it means being on television. Hopefully this means that they are receiving the help that many of them, clearly needed even if it means they just want a minute of attention. He is still getting them something that they would not normally do.

There are many mixed feelings on this television show, and people are thinking that maybe it shouldn’t have happened at all as well. This is because of what it shows, and what it doesn’t show. This is something that is going to be left up to debate when the time comes.

The readers of this might be outraged to learn what a pageant mom put on her child and worst yet, what she said about it. Pageant mom Wendy Dickey decided to dress her daughter, Paisley as a Julia Roberts’ character for one of the pageants. The worst part is that she chose to go with Vivian Ward in ‘Pretty Woman’ for the choice of character. This was shown on the show ‘Toddlers and Tiaras.’ The worst part? The mother doesn’t see anything wrong with the outfit, or the choice of character, even though this character is a prostitute in the movie. Explore Talent Manage your Artistic and Entertainment Career.

Dickey decided to tell TMZ that this controversial outfit that so many people are talking about with the blonde wig, thigh high black boots, itty bitty white top, and short blue skirt was much less revealing than many different swimsuits and gymnastic wear that other girls decide to wear for the pageants.

No harm was done to her little girl by allowing her to wear such a racy costume. She also went on to defend the parenting skills that she has when it comes to TMZ and letting everyone know that she didn’t mean any harm or disrespect to anyone, and that she is a good parent. ExploreTalent provides talented actors, models, musicians, and dancers with a database of auditions.

She went on to state that she is raising her daughter as well as any other mother does, and she takes her to church every Sunday. She doesn’t know why people focus on the pageant moms when there are much worse things out there that they should put their attention on instead. Many other children are doing much worse, and parents are right behind them. She doesn’t feel that she did anything wrong by letting little Paisley wear this outfit. She wanted to try something new, and give a new look to the pageant and Julia Roberts is someone to idolize.ExploreTalent.com is the known worldwide and has the most jobs per page possible.

Having all of this out there and more provides you with what you need when the time comes, and also know that there are actually worse things going on. Yes, they are going to air this episode with Paisley in the costume and you can make a decision for yourself on whether or not it is the right type of attire for a little girl to wear. A lot of these girls do wear different things that might be worse, but the message is not being sent out like the prostitute outfit that Paisley wears. This is mostly why people are thinking it is so wrong. They do not like that she is wearing something like this.

Little girls and being in pageants should be fun, and a lot of moms might take it more seriously than others. You can catch all of the drama and pageant life when looking online. This provides you with an insight on whether or not the moms are being the best that they can be when it comes to parenting. Take a look at what some of the other girls wear during competition as well.

Teen Mom “Fame”: A Blessing or a Curse?

It started with “16 and Pregnant” then MTV created a spin-off show for a few of the first season stars called “Teen Mom.” Suddenly, a show that was designed to highlight the trials and tribulations of teen pregnancy is the most successful program (aside from Jersey Shore) that MTV has ever had. Each week, millions of viewers are tuning in to watch Teen Mom which features four girls, all in different situations, that were part of the original show “16 and Pregnant.” However, instead of seeing how tough it is to make ends meet as a teen parent, we see girls who are checking into rehab, getting breast implants, and buying brand new cars. ExploreTalent coaches you and helps you obtain the discipline you need to succeed in the entertainment industry.

While the show’s producers refuse to comment on the rumors that the “Teen Mom” celebrities are paid upwards of $100,000 per season of the hit- reality show, it’s safe to speculate that child support and minimum wage jobs at tanning salons and pizzerias is not affording these girls the luxuries they display on the show. Explore talent  brings you the most up to date acting jobs near you!

The question is – Is all the fame really worth it for these barely-legal celebrities?

First there is Caitlyn. When she was first featured on “16 and Pregnant” we saw her and her awkward boyfriend making the ultimate decision on being pregnant. This couple opted to give their child up for adoption. The adoption is open and the new family regularly sends photos and updates on the child to the couple. With the least amount of air-time, this couple simply shows viewers how difficult it is to make even the right decision for their child. ExploreTalent.com is the known worldwide and has the most jobs per page possible.

Next is Farrah. Farrah comes from a wealthy family who would nearly bend over backwards to give her a dream life. We can credit Farrah for her determination to work hard. She does modeling, is enrolled in culinary school and holds down a part-time job at a pizzeria while raising her daughter as a single mother. The father passed away. However, this teen mom is also seen getting unnecessary breast implants, falling for internet scams on Craigslist and in a constant battle with her family. A recent article in OK! Magazine revealed that both Farrah and her co-star Macie live on liquid diets and popcorn because they feel pressured to be thin as a celebrity.

Macie is a southern bell who’s boyfriend split from her shortly after the baby was born. Truthfully, this is the only teen mom who battles going to college, working a minimum wage job, issues with the baby’s father and child support and general getting by day to day. It is speculated that the earnings from “Teen Mom” are guarded in a savings account, which is why this star is not out spending money on lavish un-necessitites.

Finally there is teen mom Amber who was recently checked out of rehab. She receives the most air-time on the show thanks to her “compelling” anger issues and the fact that she regularly beats her boyfriend on the show. She lost custody of her daughter, attempted to take her own life, and was barred from the show for the abusive action after a lawsuit was filed against MTV for broadcasting such domestic violence.
