The Thrilla In Philla
April 23, 2008 at 1:44 pm
Extreme Mortman’s exclusive Superdelegate Tracker files this report, live from the field:
OK,OK, so Rocky beat Apollo Creed yesterday, 55-45.
No big deal, actually, since there’s no way Rocky can catch Creed in pledged delegates.
How do we know this? Check out CNN’s “Democratic delegate calculator” here.
Assume that Rocky wins each of the remaining nine title fights by the same 10-point margin, 55-45, as the results of the “Thrilla in Phila.”
Even then, according to CNN’s calculator, she would be behind, 1895 to 1811, in total earned pledged delegates.
That leaves Rocky needing to convince 70 percent (214 total) of the 311 undecided superdelegates that she beats Creed on points in order to get to the 2024 total delegates needed to call herself ‘champ.’
Apollo Creed, meet Tonya Harding.

So, when is the DNC going to announce that the FL and MI delegates will be counted in their original and unadulterated form? Then Hillary will have the votes that her campaign and her character has earned and deserves! Just because the candidates were not allowed to “advertise” in these states, does not mean that the people could not form their own decisions and still get out and vote! Let every American be heard!

I could be wrong but in the CNN tracker they are giving FL and MI to clinton and and she stil has a long way to go to catch Obama. I hear all of the Clinton people’s reasons for why she should stay in the race but they just dot add up she can’t win without the super delegates, and the only reason the super’s would not go with the will of the people is if Obama is seen as unelectable and acorrding to Clinton that is not the case. So if she knows she can”t win in pledge delegates
and she says Obama is electable what does she want the super’s to do give her the nomination even though she has been beaten by a candidate that is electable. What I think is that she will do anything to be the next president so while she says she thinks Obama is electable she does not really think so and that is why I am not in the Clinton camp they lie they don’t mispeak they lie and I for one am tierd of being lied to by a gov. that I gave 6 yrs of my life to serving in the Army and all i get for it is lies…..
