I cannot understand why Friedman, who according to the July 2006 Washingtonian Magazine, lives alone with his wife in an 11000 square foot house, and who judging by the exotic local bylines of his columns must fly several hundred thousand miles per year (and almost certainly not by commercial coach class), has any credibility on Global Warming. He makes Gore's hypocrisy on the issue look small by comparison.

Well, blaming global warming sure beats reporting <a href="http://and-still-i-persist.com/?p=569" rel="nofollow">things like this.</a>

I've lived in San Diego for 30 years. Fires happen. This was a bad one, but I've seen four bad ones in that time. San Diegans realy pulled together this time and the place is filled with stories of kindness, generosity and concern for our neighbors. The firefighters were fantastic and some of them came from places quite far away.

You seem to have more pull than I do as a blogger. I'd sure appreciate it if you considered giving that link up above a bit wider play.
