   I hope all of the other advocacy groups do not follow the Paulistinian practice of putting up signs and defacing our public by-ways and monuments as a way of getting attention.

   Fathers for Justice is a noble cause, however, and the site warrants a visit and your support.

   Two thirds of the divorces are initiated by the woman. There is no question that divorce is a highly profitable game for American women. If it wasn’t, then women wouldn’t be bailing out in such high numbers. Our laws have become so skewed, that a woman can pull the plug on a marriage without any financial risk. We need to return marriage to a union of two people under God, where the risks are equally shared, and the mere utterance of the words, “I do” by a woman doesn’t entitle her to half of all of the man’s assets that were acquired before and during the marriage.

   Here’s a quote from the site:

   Shouldn’t that be hanging from the Washington Monument? Or over the front door of Mt. Vernon? After all, wasn’t it Geo. Washington who was….. “the father of our country”?

   Well Mr. Ballance, wymyn from my days through Ms. Hillary Rodham today have fought to free themselves from the chains you have imposed upon wymyn: no more! Off with the shackles of sexisim and intolerance: we won’t tolerate it anymore!

   As I was saying to the KKK the other day:

   “From 1916 on, she (me, Margaret Sanger) lectured “in many places—halls, churches, women’s clubs, homes, theaters” to “many types of audiences—cotton workers, churchmen, liberals, Socialists, scientists, clubmen, and fashionable, philanthropically minded women.” In 1926, in what she called “one of the weirdest experiences I had in lecturing”, Sanger even gave a lecture on birth control to the women’s auxiliary of the Ku Klux Klan in Silver Lake, New Jersey, a group she found so ignorant she had to use only “the most elementary terms, as though I were trying to make children understand.”[6] Sanger’s talk was well-received by the women’s auxiliary of the Ku Klux Klan and as a result “a dozen invitations to similar groups were proffered.”[6] In September 1930, she received at home the Nazi anthropologist Eugen Fischer.[7][8]”

   New Column: Hillary Clinton Proposes Reforming Child Support System to Help Dads
   “Clinton also recognizes that many states’ child support guidelines are excessive, noting:

   “‘Child support payments can represent half of [low-income] men’s income, and can provide a strong incentive to work in the underground economy.’

   “Clinton’s proposals are a good start, but much more needs to be done to address the problems low-income fathers face.”

   My new co-authored column, Hillary Clinton’s Youth Opportunity Agenda Will Help Low-Income Fathers (Black Press USA Network, 1/25/08), discusses some small but significant proposals from Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to resolve the child support problems faced by many low-income African-American fathers. The proposals are based on the Urban League’s 2006 report on the state of black America, which concluded that the child support system and its abuses are a major problem for African-American men.

   The column, co-authored with Mike McCormick, Executive Director of the American Coalition for Fathers and Children, is below. Clinton’s child support reform proposals are discussed here and here, along with her misguided position in favor of restoring federal child support enforcement budget cuts.
