Extreme Trivia #89

First, our last trivia answer: Jim Webb’s connection to the early 1980s hit song, “Believe it Or Not,” the theme to the TV show “Greatest American Hero.”
And the correct question: Joey Scarbury, who wrote “Believe It Or Not,” was discovered by singer-songwriter Jimmy Webb’s father.
Credit to Phineas J. Whoopee for this:
“Jim Webb — the songwriter, not the senator — known for such hits as “Up, Up, and Away,” “By the Time I Get to Phoenix,” “Wichita Lineman,” “Galveston,” and “MacArthur Park” discovered Joey Scarbury or Scarborough, who sang the Greatest American Hero Theme.”
Also noteworthy was Richarda:
“Something about Mr. Katt’s (who played the Hero) father - William Tallman, who played Perry Drake on the old “Perry Mason” show (and had an interesting back-story of his own)?”
Now, the next Extreme Trivia answer: The only U.S. aircraft carrier permanently deployed abroad.
What’s the question?

What is the USS Kitty Hawk, at least until next year when it due to be decommissioned.

Among all United States Navy Aircraft Carriers, the unique thing about the 46-year-old USS Kitty Hawk, based in the Japanese port city of Yokosuka is that is …. ?
The U.S.S. Arizona a) is/was a battleship and b) is at the bottom of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii — which is not considered abroad (at least until the Akaka bill on Native Hawaiians passes and becoems law).

Oh, Phineas, I was juz kidding (this is supposed to be a humorous site, right?) as I knew the USS Arizona was U-Boat: now go make some whoopee. Or just leave out the whoop and pee.
I gotta go chop some wood.
