All The Snooze That’s Fit To Print

Here’s a test for big media.
Will they cover Bill Clinton nodding off (New York Post video of Clinton snoozing in church here) the way they did Dick Cheney? As you can see, it’s a genre of news that particularly entertains Chris Cuomo …

Don’t be silly. Of course they won’t.

I don’t think they are in the same league. Dick looked like he was in some form of conference, Bill was in church. Falling asleep in church is alot more understandable than falling asleep at a meeting.
not trying to be a troll here, but I’m just saying.

Do birds live in the forest?
Of course the consistent dishonest of the NYTimes/WashPost/LATimes will manifest itself.
Somehow, they collectively and individually will find some negligible pretext to “censor” (aint that a great Liberal word to use to beat the hypocrits?) the story.
Yeah, it was in church and getting serviced by an inten in the Oval Office is “private” and gentlemen always do it, etc. etc.
This will be, yet again, another graphic demonstration of boundless Liberal Hypocricy.

In their book “A World Transformed” either Bush, Sr., or Scowcroft (or both) commented on how common it was for people, including themselves, to nod off in meetings. The hours high level officials keep, the oddness of their schedules, and, in many cases, jet lag, make sleep almost irresistable. Kind of makes me wonder if our top people are pushed too hard by expectations that they handle everything. It has to be exhausting and many of these people are in their 50s, 60s and older.

Oddly enough, they did show it. I happened to tune into GMA this morning for a couple of minutes at just the right moment. Chris Cuomo *did* show the clip of Clinton. Cuomo made a comment about equal time. Or some such.

What your astute observers fail to realize is that the world is generally a safer place when Cheney is asleep.

What your astute observers fail to realize is that the world is generally a safer place when Cheney is asleep. At least the terrorist world.
