Remembering William F. Buckley

His death today sparks infinite “best-of” memories.  Here’s mine: The time he nearly punches Noam Chomsky in the face.

    Great Post, ExMan.

    Buckley will be missed - a very entertaining personality. Of course, he was WRONG about most things but I always enjoyed him thoroughly. Perhaps the word “witty” was invented for him.

    Chomsky will not be missed - a dour, unhappy man. Of course, he is RIGHT about most things but I never enjoyed him. Perhaps the word “partypooper” was invented for him.
