Why Do You Think They Call It A Surge?

Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE) was insistent on pursuing this line of locker-room questioning with Gen. Petraeus yesterday:
PETRAEUS: Senator, the vice president was in Iraq just a couple weeks after that, and he also had a very warm reception.
BIDEN: Did he get kissed? Get a kiss?
PETRAEUS: I believe he did get kissed when he was there.
BIDEN: I just want to know whether he got kissed, that’s all.
When Joe Biden lives vicariously through Dick Cheney, we really ought to be concerned. Presumably, this is getting to first base, Biden-style.

as a resident of Delaware I take exception to your statement about the size of the state relating to the size of the intellect. First, our other Senator, Tom Carper, belies that statement. you have probably never heard of him because he actually thinks before he talks and thus is considered boring. and gets no attention. Biden is no dumber than most senators, unfortunately.
secondly, there are much larger states with much bigger idiots such as Kennedy and Kerry in Mass, Clinton and Schumer in NY, Casey and Spector in PA, Boxer and Pelosi in Cal (yes, I know Pelosi is in the House). the list could go on and on.
