Sen. Robert Byrd’s profoundly comical “Big Daddy” video — in which he shows equal glee at being very, very powerful and very, very old — has made the rounds, shown at Instapundit, Club for Growth, Wonkette, and other destination resorts.
Aside from the hilarity, however, there’s one fascinating bit of trivia we learn from the Byrd video. Since Bob Byrd joined the Senate, 100 Senators have come and gone — an entire U.S. Senate during Byrd’s tenure.
Who says KKK service is a barrier to holding public office?
