Parenting Magazine — What A Gas!

May 16, 2006 at 8:06 am

Immigration, terrorism, phone call eavesdropping, prices at the pump — the media is  constantly bombarding us with life’s mounting problems and burdens.

Need a break?  Need to switch from all those problems to something a bit closer to home?

Then check out the June 2006 issue of Parenting magazine, page 35:

“My six-week-old-burps and farts all the time… Is this normal?”

To which I could only think: Wow, and I thought I had problems.

Parenting magazine suggests, “you’ll just have to wait for the gas to pass.”

That’s what we did.  When our daughter was six-weeks-old she burped and farted all the time – but I guess that was because her first solid food was Taco Bell.

Curious Blizzard

The big winner in this weekend’s massive East Coast snow storm? Curious George. The most lovable monkey outside of captivity has a most valuable audience — kids in captivity. With schools closed, kids and their parents need something to do, like park themselves at the move theaters.
