Keith Nose Politics

Dan Riehl has some strong opinions — and video — of Keith Olbermann saying this last night after the Republican convention showed a video tribute to the victims of 9/11:
If at this late date any television network had of its own accord shown that much videotape and that much graphic videotape of 9/11 — and I speak as somebody who lost a few friends there — it, we would be rightly eviscerated at all quarters, perhaps by the Republican party itself, for exploiting the memories of the dead, and perhaps even for trying to evoke that pain again.
If you reacted to that videotape the way I did, I apologize. It is a subject of great pain for many of us still and was probably not appropriate to be shown. We`ll continue in a moment.
We’ll let Olbermann’s comments — and the reactions to them — stand on their own. We’re focused on something else Olbermann said last night, right after John McCain finished his speech:
… a speech not without significant stumbles. Governor Palin, he said, worked with her hands and nose. The comma was in another place.
The political analysis just gets more and more sophisticated, doesn’t it?

Why is the media not discussing this. This was a disgrace and bloggers are really pissed off at McCain for showcasing this for his political gain. This is just sickening and cold hearted.
I can’t believe you John McCain, you are one desperate old man and it will be the fall of all your hard work and progress.
This is one undecided voter that just got a new president to vote for and it’s NOT YOU.
