I hope any NON career politician or incumbent wins as I would love to see ALL career politicians (parasites) and incumbents (lazy parasites) in BOTH worthless parties kicked out of office.
I hope this man wins as he isnt either . However I do realize most people have blind loyalty to organized crime (a political party and incumbent) .

The Republican Party is not solely for the whites if you know your history well, however it is highly prudent for anyone with a vision to plunge in the race with good intentions. So I will say go’head Green we are behind you.

See through what? As has been noted Green is an intelligent, hard-working and decent human being, in my book that makes him more than qualified. This isn’t a bad move, just the opposite.

First why is Mr. Green running for any office as a Republican. Even though he has a right to do so as a American thank God. The Virginia voter will see right through this another bad move by the republican party.

Better job than what we have now? Do you even follow politics lady? Mark Herring was elected to the VA Senate in a special election after the session had started and yet he is classified as one of the most efficient and hard working senators in the legislative body. Even after the session had started he lobbied to be able to specially introduce bills that would benefit the district even though time had passed to be able to put these bills in the “hopper” and Allen? Talk about a senator too radical for this state. As this state has moved more towards moderate rather than the hardline conservative nature of its past Allen doesn’t seem to get the jist. Perhaps that’s why he’s facing James Webb (Reagan’s Navy Secretary) as a Democratic opponent this year.

Darryl Green has always struck me as smart and his work ethic is great. He has always been involved with the communtity which shows me he cares. I bet he could do a better job than what we have now.

Darryl Green would make a fantastic senator. He is smart, commited, talented, a team player, and is a humanist, who has been very generous to those less fortunate than himself through his foundation. He is a man of action, rather than just words. Virginia has done very well with another former athlete and son of former Redskins coach, that is George Allen, Jr.. Darryl Green is an honest leader, and would hopefully restore integrity in the citizens of the Northern Virginia area.

I cannot believe the Virginia Republican Party thinks Virginia voters are stupid enough to embrace a candidate solely because of their prior fame. Their problem is that the party does not wish to address issues Northern Virginians truly care about like the urban sprawl and traffic that is choking the DC suburbs. For years the Republicans in VA focused on wedge issues to drive out Democrats from office. However, due to the massive influx of residents from more liberal states and development the region has become far more educated and has begun to turn away from such trivial issues. Maybe the Republican Party should throw out its “no new taxes under and circumstances” platform and address funding for education, Metro extensions, widening on I-66 (realistic plans NOT Kilgore’s plan which provided no funding whatsoever) and then they’d begin to stop losing seats in both the House of Delegates and the Virginia Senate.

A guy with integrity running for public office. That’s refreshing. Having watched Darrel Green for several years playing for the Redskins is a guy I would certainly support, Democrat of Republican.
