D. Taylor, secretary treasurer of Culinary Workers Union Local 266 of Nevada, endorsing Barack Obama:
“I have a lot of respect for those folks in Iowa and New Hampshire, but we’re not just Wonder Bread, here. We’ve got pumpernickel; we got whole wheat; and we got rye.”
Great culinary plugging of food. But I think that union has more than pumpernickel to offer Obama. More like pumperquarters and pumperdollars. They certainly won’t be milquetoast.
