I think I have come up with the perfect scenario. Joe Lieberman wins in November as an Independent. Pissing off every Democrat in Connecticut and around the country. Then he goes to the Senate and votes with the Republican caucus to put the Republicans in charge by 1 vote. Hot Damn that would be good.
